PRM® gives voice to positive role models within society, the people whose stories of adversity and struggle carry the keys that others may be missing.
Society's role model problem...
What gets held up as one often isn't the role model people need, while the genuine ones, the people who have faced adversity and come through the other side in a positive manner, aren't given the platform to deliver the message.
PRM Positive Role Model CIC exists to change that narrative and give voice to the real positive role models within society. Through our podcast, we tell the stories of people who have faced genuine adversity and come through it positively. Through our frameworks, we take those stories into education and corporate settings as talks, workshops and training, covering mental health, resilience, the risks facing young people and the adverse childhood experiences many adults are unaware of. By bringing awareness to emotions and giving tools to control reactions, our work is therapeutically informed support, not clinical intervention: reaching people early, building understanding and reducing the strain on public services. As a Community Interest Company, everything we generate is reinvested in that mission.

WHAT WE DO
The podcast
The podcast gets the message out. Each episode gives a voice to a positive role model – their story, their struggle, and what carried them through the other side. In a world where devices are an extension of the human form, one message delivered through the PRM network can change the course of someone's direction dramatically.
The frameworks
Our frameworks turn lived experience into structured talks and workshops, delivered in education settings and corporate organisations. They are continuously scaffolded to address what is impacting society the most – from current trauma in young people to historic trauma in adults.
Adults in workplaces have rarely had the chance to learn about ACEs and historic trauma – knowledge that changes how people lead, manage and support each other. At the same time, young people need role models they can genuinely relate to. PRM connects the two: bringing that understanding into workplaces, and placing positive role models in front of the young people who need them most.
